Duo Zendegi is a collective that creates unique artistic compositions that are based upon music and dance from the Middle-East. The duet consists of Marouf Majidi and Suvi Tuominen.
Marouf is an Iranian born composer and musician. He graduated from Sibelius Academy as Master of Global music and has worked as a freelance artist in Finland for over 10 years. Suvi Tuominen is a freelance dance artist who’s speciality is the MENA (Middle East and North-Africa) dance traditions. She is nationally and internationally a well known dancer and teacher in the scene. She is soon graduating from North-Karelia College Outokumpu, where she has studied contemporary dance as well as movement and performance research.
